Chelsea legend Didier Drogba is set to end his time in the MLS at the end of the current season, according to reports.
The 38-year old Ivorian told reporters that he had played in his last home game for Montreal Impact following their 3-2 victory over Toronto FC in the Eastern Conference finals.
“There’s still one or maybe two games to go. Next week’s game is more important than if it’s finished or not. Everyone knows it was my last game here. Now let’s focus on the semi-final,” the Champions League winner said when asked about his future plans.
The player has not disclosed his next move but the striker would not be short of offers is he decides to play for another year before hanging his boots. He has played and won titles in France for Marseille, England for Chelsea, including Golden Boots, Premier League, FA Cups et al., Galatasaray in Turkey and Shanghai Shenhua in the Chinese League.
